The Home Buying Process

Become familiar with JLS Custom Homes' simple home buying process. Each step is outlined in the process below!

Select Your Floor Plan and Home Site.

The on-site New Home Sales Professional will help you choose the right home design that best fits your needs. A move-in ready home or home site will then be selected based on the home design you have selected and the home sites in which the design has been designated.

Purchase & Sales Agreement

Details of the sale are prepared by the on-site New Home Sales Professional. You will sign the Purchase & Sales Agreement and give your Earnest Money deposit.

Loan Application

The Preferred Lender, Mortgage Trust, will contact you to make a loan application. An on-site mortgage planner will assist you in filling out a loan application on-site or will call you to arrange filling out the application.

Loan Commitment

You're approved for a loan! Within seven days of acceptance, you receive loan approval!
