The Home Buyer Orientation

As part of the buying process, it is natural that you will have some questions regarding the orientation and warranty procedures of your home.
What is an orientation?
The orientation is a chance for you the homebuyer to become familiar with your home. During the orientation, a JLS representative from the Warranty Team will explain to you the systems of your home and how they operate, as well as sharing valuable home care tips and answering any questions or concerns you may have about your new home. During your home orientation you may notice some cosmetic deficiencies. This is normal for any new home and you should not be alarmed. The JLS representative leading your orientation will make note of the defect and will proceed with the orientation.
Who should come to the orientation?
JLS asks that only purchasers come to the orientation. This cuts down on the confusion and helps the orientation go smoother.
Where does the orientation begin?
The orientation will always begin in the garage. With that said, when showing up to your orientation you can count on meeting a JLS representative in the garage. After walking thru the systems and components that make up your garage, the orientation will move to the inside of the house and will conclude outside of your home.
What happens after the orientation?
If any defects are noted during the course of the orientation, your JLS representative accompanying you will have a second orientation scheduled to ensure that these items are completed before your move in.
