About JLS Founded by Jason Sage in 1999 with the goal of being the #1 homebuilder in the Northwest, JLS Custom Homes has established itself as one of the premier homebuilders in the Northwest. With more than 15 years of building experience, President Jason Sage has developed JLS to focus on customer satisfaction by building high quality homes at a reasonable price. With innovative home designs and a construction model that has been tailored over the past decade, JLS is able to keep pace with the high demand for its homes. JLS communities have been built all over the Greater Portland Metropolitan area including: Aloha, Beaverton, Forest Grove, Happy Valley, Hillsboro, Keizer, Salem, Sherwood, Tigard, Troutdale, Tualatin, and Wilsonville. JLS also has a strong presence in Tri-Cities, Washington and has recently expanded to Eugene, Vancouver, and Spokane, Washington. In the coming year, JLS will also have communities in Bend and across Clark County, Washington. Prices for a JLS home vary between $190,000 to over $700,000. Being able to build such a wide price range allows JLS to target different markets as consumer demands are constantly changing.

In May 2006, JLS earned national industry honors by ranking No. 138 in BUILDER Magazine's annual assessment, which recognizes the top 200 home builders in the nation. The list of the top 200 builders was featured in the May issue of BUILDER Magazine, the magazine of the National Association of Home Builders, and on BUILDER Online. In addition to quality homes, the success of JLS can also be attributed to its employees. Their combined talents, dedication and pride hold fast to the high standards set forth by Sage. In addition to a ever growing number of employees, JLS consistently employs over 75 subcontractors, many of which are entrepreneurial companies in their own right who employ still more of today's local job force.

JLS is also committed to supporting the community it serves. With an annual Christmas toy drive JLS has been able to donate to several children's charities in the area. Emanuel Children's Hospital, For Us, NW Kids, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Doernbecher's Children Hospital and "JOIN" Women's Resource Center are just some of the charities that JLS has donated to in the past. All of the proceeds from the 2003 Street of New Beginnings in Tigard were donated to Emanuel Children's Hospital. Giving back to the community is something that Sage takes great pride in and JLS looks forward to donating more in the future.
